Scuderia Ferrari HP has officially extended its landmark partnership with Philip Morris International (PMI), reinforcing one of the longest-running alliances in global sport, a relationship now stretching over five decades. The renewed agreement expands beyond the Formula 1 team to also include the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, strengthening a collaboration built on shared values of innovation, research and long-term vision.
As part of this new phase, PMI’s ZYN brand will make its debut on the Ferrari Formula 1 livery at selected Grands Prix, beginning this weekend at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, marking the first visible step of the updated partnership.
Ferrari’s Chief Racing Revenue Officer Lorenzo Giorgetti emphasized the significance of this renewed alliance, saying “Ferrari has always valued partnerships built on innovation, responsibility, and a vision oriented toward continuous improvement… Our renewed collaboration with PMI is a concrete expression of this approach and continues a relationship that has lasted for over fifty years.”
He highlighted PMI’s progress in developing smoke-free alternatives, noting that Ferrari is proud to evolve alongside a partner that shares a relentless drive for excellence, discipline and scientific innovation both on and off the track.
The strengthened partnership will continue to explore new opportunities in research and technical development, consistent with a collaboration that has historically supported Ferrari’s competitive ambitions. All initiatives tied to the agreement, Ferrari notes, will adhere to strict responsibility standards and be targeted solely at an adult audience.
With the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix serving as the starting point of this updated chapter, Ferrari and PMI enter the next stage of their long-running alliance with a renewed commitment to innovation and a shared vision for the future.
