Red Bull have revealed the first images of the RB22, the car that Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar will take into the 2026 season, ahead of its on-track debut at the Barcelona Shakedown (an initial run designed to verify the car’s basic systems) at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
After unveiling the team’s livery (the car’s visual design and color scheme) during a media event in Detroit on January 15, the squad has now showcased the actual car set to run this week, marking one of the earliest track appearances as Formula 1 enters a brand-new technical era.
The RB22’s rollout is particularly significant for Red Bull, as 2026 represents the first season of their partnership with Ford, a landmark collaboration that sees the Ford name return to Formula 1 for the first time since 2004.
With the car now ready to hit the track and initial validation underway, Red Bull begin the process of assessing their first full technical package of the 2026 era, as the competitive order prepares for a fundamental reset.
