The 21-year-old Brit will race with Campos Racing after a rapid rise through the junior ladder
In a move that carries strategic weight beyond branding, TAG Heuer has confirmed Megan Bruce as its representative for the 2026 F1 ACADEMY season, reinforcing its long-standing connection to motorsport while investing in one of the most dynamic young trajectories in the development ranks.
The 21-year-old British driver will compete with Campos Racing, an established outfit in junior categories, as she embarks on her first full campaign in the all-female championship.
Bruce only began racing competitively three years ago in the Caterham Academy, yet her progression has been swift. She secured her first podium after just five races, an early sign of pace that led her into the Caterham 270R Championship while transitioning to single-seaters in the 2024 GB4 season.
Returning for a sophomore GB4 campaign in 2025, she recorded a career-best fourth-place finish at Oulton Park, continuing a structured adaptation to formula machinery.
Her performance at the inaugural F1 ACADEMY Rookie Test further strengthened her case for a 2026 seat, finishing inside the top four in both sessions, which opened the door to an early one-off appearance at Round 6 in Singapore to gain direct championship experience.
Looking ahead to her rookie season, Bruce underlined the significance of the backing she will carry. “I’m really excited to be joining TAG Heuer and Campos Racing for the 2026 F1 ACADEMY season,” she said. “TAG Heuer have a major presence in motorsport and supporting many successful athletes in F1 and other sports.”
She also reflected on the speed of her development. “Having started this journey just three years ago, I’m super grateful for their belief in me and giving me this opportunity. I had a great time getting my first taste of F1 ACADEMY in Singapore, learning so much, so I can’t wait to work with Campos Racing and get this season started.”
With the backing of a brand deeply embedded in Formula 1 heritage and the technical framework of an experienced junior team, Bruce enters 2026 facing a clear objective: convert rapid progression into sustained competitiveness on an increasingly demanding F1 ACADEMY grid.
