Alex Albon's Formula 1 career has been defined by resilience and reinvention. After progressing through the European junior ranks and finishing runner-up in the 2018 Formula 2 Championship, he made his F1 debut with Toro Rosso in 2019 before earning a mid-season promotion to Red Bull Racing.
Following a challenging spell at the front of the grid and a year away from racing in 2021, Albon returned to Formula 1 with Williams in 2022. There, he reestablished himself as one of the grid's most effective over-performers, combining racecraft, tyre management, and consistency to regularly extract results beyond the car's baseline.
