Qatar 2025: the paddock like you’ve never experienced

From the calm of the paddock to the roar of the engines, an experience that redefines what it means to live Formula 1 from within.

The 2025 Qatar Grand Prix offered an unforgettable weekend: relaxed mornings, perfect weather, and direct access to the stars of F1. Being inside the paddock allows you to experience the race from the perspective of those who make it happen: drivers, engineers, and teams, where every move counts.

Beyond the track excitement, the true magic lies in the garages, pit lane, and pit gantry. “It’s the closest way to understand Formula 1: seeing the drivers, interacting with them, and feeling strategy in action,” says our guest correspondent Paula Debernardi, who had full access throughout the weekend.

The paddock is the heart of Formula 1: drivers and teams have their garages and hospitality suites, where they rest and eat. Formula One, Pirelli, and the FIA also have spaces for staff, media, and marketing. Access is restricted; tickets cannot be bought and are reserved for friends, family, and key sponsors.

The Paddock Club provides VIP experiences: passes include gourmet cuisine, drinks, pitlane walks, track tours, and selected garage visits. Visitors can also access the pit gantry, seeing the race like engineers and principals do, with real-time data to make decisions.

Our guest correspondent shared insider tips:

  • Arrive at the pitlane about five laps before the race ends to be among the first to witness the podium celebration and enjoy prime views of the world champion.
  • Wear closed shoes for unexpected invitations, like watching a Formula 2 race from the pitlane. Improvisation is key: borrow from a friend if needed to enjoy the moment.
  • In the garages, guests receive headsets for team radio and screens for live feed. Drivers weigh in before each session, get strapped in by mechanics, and tires are revealed at the last moment. “During Qualy 1 of Isack Hadjar, Racing Bulls’ pit stops were flawless; seeing them live is a game-changer,” says Paula Debernardi.
  • Use track tours and pit walks to observe tire degradation and team strategy across Qualy 1–3.

Between meals in hospitality, pitlane races, track tours, and real-time strategy observation, the weekend blended calm mornings with racing intensity, proving that Formula 1 is more than speed: it’s precision, strategy, and concentrated excitement at every turn.

Qatar 2025 wasn’t just a race; it was a masterclass in living Formula 1 from within, combining exclusivity, total access, and the chance to witness every strategy and pit stop. This experience redefines VIP in modern motorsport and proves that every detail, from paddock to track, tells its own unforgettable story.
