Charles Leclerc marries in Monaco: an intimate ceremony ahead of the 2026 season

On the eve of the 2026 Formula 1 season, Charles Leclerc has entered a new chapter in his personal life, marrying Alexandra Saint Mleux in Monaco in a ceremony that balanced discretion, symbolism and the unmistakable elegance associated with the Monegasque driver.

Away from the intensity of the paddock, the civil ceremony was deliberately intimate, attended only by close friends and family. The choice of Monaco carried weight: the Principality, home to one of the sport’s most iconic race weekends, became the setting for a celebration rooted in both tradition and Mediterranean glamour.

A defining detail was the presence of a vintage Ferrari, a direct nod to Leclerc’s racing identity. The couple departed in a 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, creating an image that blended motorsport heritage with romance. Within the racing community, the symbolism resonated instantly.

Saint Mleux wore a classic sleeveless white dress, while Leclerc opted for a pale suit, reinforcing the understated tone of the event. Guests described an atmosphere of authenticity, marked by visible warmth and connection between the couple.

Their relationship had drawn public attention through joint appearances at events such as Wimbledon and Paris Fashion Week. The engagement announcement in November 2025 heightened anticipation among fans. Now, with the 2026 championship approaching, the marriage represents a significant personal milestone for one of the grid’s central figures.

In a sport defined by scrutiny and performance pressure, Leclerc has largely kept his private life guarded. This union, however, extends beyond a social headline: it signals stability at a pivotal moment in his career. As Formula 1 prepares for regulatory transformation, Leclerc’s most meaningful shift comes away from the cockpit.
